Whale Watching directions
The blue whale is the largest animal to ever live on earth and the humpback whales are the most active and curious whale known to breach, spy-hop and lunge feed and come to the whale watching boats and people watch. Take a trip out to the Monterey Peninsula and enjoy the gray whales migration which is a 12,000 mile round trip from the Bering Sea to Baja, California and back to the Bering Sea. This is best undertaken in January through April. Killer whales, Minke whales, dolphins, and porpoise however can be seen all year round.
